Main Duties of the Job

The ultrasound department in the Princess Anne Hospital is looking for another team member to help us deliver excellent care to our patients. This position is permanent and involves working closely with sonographers, nurses, and other ultrasound assistants.

Your role will be to assist sonographers or clinicians during ultrasound examinations and provide phlebotomy services as part of our first trimester antenatal screening. Other duties include keeping ultrasound room stock and keeping the room clean, supporting patients with mobility or other needs.

Work will take place in various areas within Princess Anne Hospital such as ultrasound, early pregnancy clinic, and gynaecology, as well as in the community-based ultrasound clinics at Bitterne Health Centre and New Forest Birth Centre. Trav...
