Truck Driver - Picker & Log Loader

Position Summary

Operate commercial truck short haul, long haul with the operation of a truck mounted picker/log loader to transport and unload poles to and from specified destinations by performing the duties below:

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver to customer yards and job site locations including multiple provinces, potentially cross-border state delivery (USA)
• Load and unload poles by using a log loader/boom with grapple attachment and placing poles into yard bunks, and onto other truck/trailer combinations. Deliver to customer yards and job site locations, including staking loads
• Maintain in vehicle documents, permits and valid licenses for assigned truck/equipment.
• Assist in maintenance scheduling service of the trucks, yard and support equipment as required.
• Drive truck to destination including during adverse weather conditions and emergency storm response.
