About the Role

RINA is currently recruiting for a Trieste Safety Plan Approval Engineer to join its office in Trieste, Italy within the Mediterranean and Africa Marine Division.

Mission

This role focuses on supporting the elaboration of detailed plan and design reviews, resolving issues related to conflicting design requirements, ensuring client requirements and applicable standards are met.Projects could include the approval of new building, conversion, and existing vessels and yachts.

Key Accountabilities

  • Review and approve drawings of safety, fire protection for ships and offshore units, on the basis of the assigned tasks.

  • Review and approve drawings of lifesaving appliances and navigation lights for ships and offshore units, on the basis of the assigned tasks.
