Transport Engineer

Our client is currently seeking a Transport Engineer in Overland Park, KS


This job will have the following responsibilities:

Research and update paths, segments, and equipment in CND. 

Update and migrate IP assignments in INAM. 

Support migration of numerous circuit paths and connections to a new transport system.

Complete Backhaul designs in CND, IP assignments in INAN, and work with vendors to support network Growth and modernization in the MTPLs region. 

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE

7-10 + years 

Experience with backhaul design and management of fiber optic systems and equipment - Understanding of Client systems used for circuit inventory, IP assignments, and project management. 

-Knowledge of ROAMs and optical transport networks

DESIRED SKILLS: Knowledge of Fujitsu optical transport equipment knowledge of Transport service delivery ordering, provisioning, and service provider process.
