Transport Controller

Purpose of the Role

The Transport Controller is responsible for controlling incoming and outgoing shipments, working with customers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping companies, and other stakeholders to ensure the best overall service levels. The role requires knowledge of logistics transport coordination and control.

Reporting

This position reports to the Transport Operations Director.

Job Summary

• Manage and control material transport flows from domestic and international suppliers to plants.
• Receive, analyse, process, and accurately document information.
• Evaluate information to ensure compliance with required standards and regulations.
• Act as a key logistics partner to stakeholders by delivering quality logistics solutions.
