About the Role

Position Overview

Under the direction of the Manager, Health Services, the incumbent is responsible for delivering patient care in the Transplant Clinic in a manner which reflects professional nursing practice and for demonstrating effective communication and teaching skills with patients and staff.


Experience

  • Recent prior experience in the care of transplant and nephrology patients required.
  • Current Ambulatory Care experience preferred.

    • Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)


  • Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.

    • Certification/Licensure/Registration

  • Responsible for maintaining and providing proof of registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
  • Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.
