Transmission Implementation Engineer (Buenos Aires)

Overview

At Trinetix, we are looking for a Senior Transmission Implementation Engineer to join our Transmissions team, supporting the build, expansion, and optimization of Arelion's optical transport network. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with DWDM infrastructure, optical line systems, and transponder platforms, along with a strong ability to commission, migrate, and manage transmission equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the Arelion Optical Transport Network, ensuring delivery within agreed lead times.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, testing, and service turn-up of optical transmission equipment.
• Perform DWDM link migrations in coordination with onsite technicians, including activities outside standard working hours when required.
• Execute migration of services from platforms approaching end‑of‑life (EoL).
