PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To train and assess mining technical skills according to the quality LDS principles, legislative req and to facilitate theoretical, practical and behavioural competencies to improve H&S and increase productivity according to the organisational needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent is essential
Competent B Certificate is essential
Blasting Assistant Certificate is essential
Valid First Aid Certificate is essential
ETD Certificate (NQF Level 3 – Train the Trainer) is desirable
Registered assessor and Moderator Certificate (Attain on the job) is desirable
Minimum 2 years trackless mining underground experience as an operator is essential
COMPETENCIES:
Underground Mining relevant legislative requirements.
Assessor and moderator knowledge.
