About the Role
Responsibilities
- Identifying potential business opportunities
- Conducting market research to obtain key data for analytical purposes
- Fixing cargo for profit maximization
- Support the shipbrokering sector desk, and other commodities when needed
- A degree or diploma in any discipline, though a background in Business, Economics, Maritime Studies, and Shipping would have an advantage
- Shipping operations experience is strongly preferred
- Min 1-2 years’ experience in similar capacity
- Good network of clientele with proven track record will be a plus
- Outgoing personality and extrovert. Looking for candidates that have charisma and are able to talk to people
- Those without experience but with maritime education can be considered for other positions in shipping and marine companies
