Objectives of the Position

• Contribute to the continuous development of BASF’s Standard for Trade Compliance by understanding the Regulatory requirement across Trade Compliance disciplines and contextualizing for business context.
• Provide Global oversight and act as liaison with Regional Trade Compliance leads regarding National Trade Compliance Officer activities in each jurisdiction.

Main Tasks

Continuously develop BASF’s Standard for Trade Compliance across disciplines and contextualizing for different Business scenarios.

• Collaborate with Trade Compliance Global Topic Owners e.g. Responsible Supply Chain, Embargos, Dual-use and Defense Military Compliance, Chemicals Trade Control to co-develop BASF’s approach to new or changing regulation.
