About the Role
Responsibilities
- Oversee all import activities into Malaysia and manage domestic export shipments from West to East Malaysia and Brunei, ensuring smooth, timely, and compliant operations.
- Plan and coordinate vessel schedules, delivery timelines, warehouse allocations, and shipments, including support for new store openings.
- Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of shipping documentation (e.g., invoices, packing lists, costing files), and resolve discrepancies with relevant stakeholders.
- Collect, interpret, and analyze logistics data, including:
- Backlog deliveries
- Fulfilment metrics
- Shipping lead times and costs
- Reliability and cost-effectiveness of third‑party logistics (3PL) providers
- Monitor logistics performance and identify trends or issues impacting efficiency and cost.
