About the Role

JSG is seeking a skilled Tool Maker for our client in Hicksville NY. This pivotal role involves designing, building, and troubleshooting tools and prototypes that uphold a commitment to quality and efficiency. This is a Direct Hire opening with our client.


Pay $30/hour



Required Skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience setting up and operating lathes, milling machines, and grinders
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and sketches with precision
  • Proficient in using standard inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauge blocks
  • Strong shop math skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Basic CNC experience is a plus
