POSITION SUMMARY: The takeout specialist is responsible for taking guests orders, ringing in orders and taking payment from the guest with great customer service. This position reports to the General Manager. 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Act as a company advocate and embody Pizzana’s values: Excellent customer service, innovation, community, cleanliness, and a great place to work.
  • Hold the guest as the most important priority at all times
  • Enthusiastically greet the guest making eye contact and smiling
  • Take the order listening closely to ensure every order is filled promptly and accurately (smart sell if applicable)
  • Maintain aesthetic guidelines while packaging
  • Ensure orders are entered in the POS system accurately
  • Collect payment from the guest
