Theatre Practitioner
Location: Woodlands Hospital, Darlington
Hours: Part-time, 34.5 hours per week, permanent
Salary: Up to £35,000 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Theatre Practitioner to join their team of staff. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:
- Assist the surgical team by preparing instruments, maintaining sterility, anticipating surgeon needs, and ensuring equipment safety; support the Anaesthetist in equipment preparation, patient monitoring, airway management, and positioning; and provide post-operative care, monitoring vital signs, managing pain and nausea, and ensuring patient readiness for discharge.
