Temporary Rental Specialist Assistant

Blue Sky is seeking a temporary Rental Specialist Assistant to support our customer's Homeownership program for Housing Choice Voucher Program.

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE

• 6 Months, but may go longer

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establishes and maintains agency policies as it relates to HUD established Fair Market Rents (FMR) and Rent Reasonableness for Housing Choice Voucher Program.

• Demonstrates advanced knowledge of housing laws, particularly fair housing law, theory and practice of fair housing investigations.

• Examines and evaluates all documents to ensure authenticity. Calculates income, deductions, and exclusions in the determination of tenant rent and housing assistance payment; assesses bedroom size requirements and issues vouchers to meet participants' ...
