Key Responsibilities
Carry out detailed design & electrical site surveys to assess existing installations and project requirements.Assist electrical department producing electrical designs, drawings, calculations, and technical documentation for a range of projects.Review, verify, and formally sign off electrical designs, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.Ensure designs comply with:BS (IET Wiring Regulations)Electricity at Work RegulationsBuilding RegulationsRelevant British Standards and industry guidanceClient specifications and contractual requirementsUndertake load calculations, cable sizing, fault level calculations, voltage drop calculations, and protection coordination.Oversee the preparation of electrical schematics, layouts, and design documentation using CAD software where required.P...
