Teacher of Religious Studies – Newham, East London (effective September2026). A leading 11-18 academy in Newham is appointing a Teacher of Religious Studies to join its high-achieving humanities team. You will teach Religious Studies across KS3–KS4 (KS5 may be available), delivering intellectually ambitious lessons that build critical thinking, ethical reasoning and confident written argument.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Religious Studies lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Develop student confidence through critical enquiry and written argument.
• Collaborate with the humanities team and contribute to curriculum planning and development.
• Maintain calm classrooms, consistent routines and uphold respectful student behaviour.
