About the Role
The Katherine Thomas School is a private special education school that services students with language, learning, sensory motor disabilities and moderate to high functioning autism. This is a full-time position for the 2026/2027 school year working with students in middle school. Hours are 8:30am - 4:15pm. EOE
Annual salary range of $62,000 to $85.000, depending on experience and level of education.

Responsibilities of the math teacher include:
+ Develop instruction following the Maryland State Curriculum providing necessary accommodations to meet individual, group, and program needs
+ Teach students to utilize assistive technology
+ Write and implement IEPs
+ Create a supportive learning environment
+ Create partnerships with parents and the KTS community
