Cardiothoracic Surgeon Opportunity

Reston Hospital Center is seeking cardiothoracic surgeons to support Northern Virginia's newest cardiothoracic surgery program just outside of Washington D.C. in the fast-growing and highly desirable community of Reston, VA. Qualified candidates:

• Board certified or board eligible
• Minimum of 5 years of experience required; exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered
• Superb communication skills and a passion for program development and collaboration
• Experience and comfort level with heart bypass surgery, valve repair and replacement (including TAVR and mitral)
• Experience in open and endovascular aortic procedures
• Knowledge and experience with advanced technologies to reduce the invasiveness of thoracic and cardiovascular procedures
• Capable of doing complex cases in independent setting
• Virginia licensure or ability to obtain
