SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This position is located in the Joint Forces Headquarters-State, Logistics Directorate (J-4), Surface Maintenance Facility. The purpose of this position is to serve as a Small Shop Chief with regular and recurring responsibility for the overall operation of a small maintenance shop. DEFINITION OF AREA(S) OF CONSIDERATION: Area 1 = On-board technicians currently assigned to the Louisiana National Guard. Responsibilities Duties & Responsibilities: (1) Plans, accomplishes, and maintains a functional small shop maintenance program. Plans and lays out work to be accomplished by shop workers.
