About the Role
Join Indwell as a Supportive Housing Coordinator in St. Thomas, Ontario, and support marginalized communities. This 8-week summer contract involves managing wellness programs and enhancing community engagement.
In this vital role, you will help strengthen housing stability and promote the well-being of individuals through recreational and community-building activities. You will be part of a dedicated team, responsible for planning events and documenting participant engagement to foster an empowered community. Flexibility in hours is necessary to meet program demands.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct and indirect support to individuals
• Organize cultural and recreational activities
• Document and evaluate programs for effectiveness
• Maintain a safe and healthy living environment
• Perform household duties as required
Requirements:
• Minimum High School Diploma; preference for social sciences background
• Commitment to Indwell's mission and values
