Summary The Supervisory Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist position is located at Audie L. Murphy VAMC in San Antonio, Texas within Psychology Service/Vocational Rehabilitation Section. Responsibilities Duties may include but are not limited to: -Responsible for the administration and execution of all components of the Compensated Work Therapy (CWT) sub-specialty program. -Responsible for compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Veterans Affairs (VA) regulations in all work-for-pay programs. -Assesses the Veteran's functional level, motivation, and work potential by interview. -Monitor the progress of patients in their vocational rehabilitation plans through frequent meetings with patients, staff, and work-area supervisors. -Coordinate and supervise Veteran patient work schedules with participating hospital services. -Negotiate and secure contracted work appropriate to the skill level of assigned patients. -Develop and maintain contacts with companies and agencies in t...
