Supervisory Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist

Summary This position serves as the Program Manager for the VHA Vocational Rehabilitation Service (VAVR) which is comprised of Compensated Work Therapy (CWT) Programs - Transitional Work (TW), Supported Employment (SE), Community Based Employment Services(CBES), and Supported Education(SE). Vocational Assistance (VOC), and Peer Support (PSS) are additional vocational rehabilitation services provided within VA-VR, and as a part of the Mental Health product line, under the Chief, Psychology Services. Responsibilities Duties: Responsible for VA-VR/CWT financial account budget and billing, collections, contract procurement, equipment purchases, purchase of support services, payments to veterans participating in CWT, etc. Assesses the effectiveness of current programming and resources to ensure adequate placement and follow up of program participants.
