Supervisory Accountant

Summary This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Financial Management Division (FC), Office of Finance, Accounts Payable Section. This position(s) primary purpose is to provide DEA-wide professional accounting and financial management services, management advice, and assistance. Responsibilities As a your typical work assignments may include: Oversees and manages work operations for staff accountants and analysts by developing strategic goals and objectives necessary to track, monitor, and account for financial resources throughout the agency. Develops program policies, procedures, and evaluation methods to foster continuous improvement practices for DEA. Develops recommendations for improving fiscal management and achieving efficiencies for implementation across DEA.
