About the Role

We are currently seeking a full-time Supervisor -Recreation Programs to join our Community Services team. The Supervisor-Recreation Programs is responsible for leading a team of unionized staff to achieve excellence in customer service and programming at the Comox Valley Regional District’s Sports and Aquatic Centres. Reporting to the Aquatic Centre Coordinator, and working closely with the Sports Centre Coordinator, the primary responsibilities of this role include:


  • Assisting the Coordinators in the planning and delivery of quality recreation programs and special events to a wide variety of users;

  • Scheduling, training, mentoring and providing day-to-day direction to program staff;

  • Developing, promoting, implementing, and evaluating recreation programs to ensure exceptional customer service is provided in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere;
