Our client is a leading South African meat wholesaler supplying meat and other food products to sectors of the hotel, restaurant and hospitality industries. They are looking for a Supervisor – Dry Goods to join their Cape Town team.
JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise packing and storage of dry goods
Offloading trucks as required
Minimize Waste in Dry store
Maintain workflow and managing of team members
Check that staff Members are at work and report absenteeism timeously to Section manager
Ensure that stock pickers and you are wearing clean undamaged protective clothing as per company policy
Assist the Section managers in planning the picking of stock for daily production or deliveries
