Are you an experienced nurse or midwife ready to develop your career within specialist community public health nursing?

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for registered nurses and/or midwives to undertake the Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN – School Nursing) training programme, commencing January 2027.

This 12 month programme prepares practitioners for autonomous, preventative public health practice, focused on improving outcomes for children and families and reducing health inequalities across communities.

Successful candidates are employed as valued members of our School Nursing Team, enabling them to develop the knowledge and skills required for safe, effective, and autonomous SCPHN practice.

This role is a community- based role with your duties being carried out between your base, home and a range community settings for example a school/ family hub or trust site.
