Student Computer Center Student Tutor

General Description

The Student Computer Center (SCC) Student tutor is responsible for providing tutorial assistance to students in the computer laboratory setting, in the discipline(s) listed under job duties. Reports To Student Computer Center Supervisor What position(s) reports to this position? None Minimum Education/Experience Must be a current OCCC student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for the Fall or Spring semester or enrolled in a minimum of 3 credit hours for the Summer semester.

OR

Must be a current OCCC student with a federal work study award.

AND

Must be qualified to tutor in designated tutor subject area by receiving recommendation from a laboratory supervisor or faculty confirming qualification. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Must demonstrate positive communication and human relations skills while performing work.

Ability to work a flexible schedule

Good organizational skills
