Structural Designer

Duration: 12 Months Job Description: This position is responsible for structural design work to support clients Transmission and Distribution Substation Design Group as well as providing support to the Transmission Line Design Group. The Structural Designer 3 will produce engineering drawings, specifications, and material requirements for structural steel and concrete foundations, etc. with an emphasis on safety, quality, scheduling, and costs. These positions will require some travel (approximately 25%) and will require availability to be in the office a minimum of four days a week and the ability to work successfully in a remote/virtual environment with access to internet service the remainder. Responsibilities: AutoCAD training, experience or certification is required. Experience: 10 plus years structural steel detailing experience including commercial, industrial, stairs, handrails, etc. Experience in creating substation drawings a plus.
