Stock Controller

Overall Purpose of the Job: The main purpose of the position is to control branch stock and secondary to assist with day to day branch administrative duties.

Stock Control

• Acknowledge request of orders placed from technicians
• Follow correct procedures and order stock from Head Office (Units, Consumables and Tools)
• Ensure that stock is scanned out and accurately packed
• Ensure that all boxes are listed on StockMover and that each box has the correct printed list per technician
• File the signed copy of StockMover
• Troubleshoot queries where stock is short delivered.
• Scan stock received / distributed
• Receive request for stock to be moved or unit state to be changed
• Send request for change to Systems department once authorized
• Follow up on requested changes 80%
• Dispatch stock to fitters as required for client installation purposes
