Staff Pharmacist - Long Term Care Pharmacy

About the Role

Our client, a stable, profitable and innovative long-term care pharmacy located in Chicago, is seeking an rotating day/evening shift pharmacist to add to their growing team. This is a full-time position in a closed-door pharmacy and will involve staffing duties such as:
  • Receiving and reviewing medication orders

  • Dispensing medications to the customer's facilities.

  • Interacting with medical staff at the long-term care facilities for order clarification and providing drug information

  • IVs and TPN preparation

  • Supervising technicians
    • REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have BS in Pharmacy or a Pharm D Degree and be licensed to practice as a Pharmacist in the State of Illinois.

  • Stable work history, exceptional communication skills and customer service focus a must!

  • At least TWO YEARS of experience in a long-term care pharmacy setting a must
