Staff Nurse

Moral Welfare Home is a Welfare Home providing care and accommodation for residents with multiple disabilities (physically/ intellectually disabled, psychiatric illness). The Home is gazetted by the Ministry of Social and Family Development, who is providing funding for the residents, who are destitute and wards of the state.

The Staff Nurse manages the clinical needs and physiological well-being of residents through use of nursing practices and procedures. He/ She will take on supervisorial duties such as delegation of tasks, medication dispensing, guidance & education, and maintaining of work standards. He/ She will assist the Nurse Manager with overseeing a team of nurses, who will assist with the daily care of residents. He/ She will work within a multidisciplinary team to assess and provide inputs for resident care planning.
