Staff Nurse (Multidiscipline Ward)

Obtains report from the outgoing team and records sufficient information to ensure appropriate follow-up actions
Provides handover to the incoming nursing team, including all necessary information for continuity of care.
Plans and delivers Nursing Care for assigned patients in collaboration with team members according to individual patient’s needs.
Delegates duties to team members and provide clinical supervision to junior staff.
Administers and documents all medications, enteral and parenteral nutrition, and treatment as prescribed by doctor and ensuring accuracy in all records.
Observes, evaluates, and documents any changes in patients’ conditions. Notifies the Doctor of significant findings, abnormal lab and radiology results, or unusual observations.
Keeps Nurse Manager informed of all unit activities and all issues arising.
Assists with the orientation of newly appointed Nursing staff.
Able to use the HMIS for documentation purposes.
