About our group: Media new product launch is to provide technical solutions to new product qualification, product yield, quality and reliability through developing new process and metrology. The team also needs to work closely with media R&D group and drive design center to continue optimize media process in order to meet product electrical recording performance as well as mechanical, tribology, manufacturability. Internally, the team need to work with different functional groups to deliver new mag design in very dynamic and challenging environment. About the role - you will: Reporting to the Engineering Director, the incumbent will:
Develop on HAMR sputter process to improve media ADC and mechanical performance to meet new product timeline. Design of experiment to understand the process window/margin.
