Staff Chemist, Manufacturing

Support the manufacturing of chemistry based medical devices products by maintaining current processes and transferring new processes from R&D. The scope of work includes process and test method validation, identifying and implementing process and test method improvements, process transfer and scale-up. Work closely with R&D, Quality, and Regulatory in supporting the transfer of new products from R&D, process and test method validation, and process development and improvement. Job duties:

Interface with other departments to solve production and technical problems.

Advanced subject matter expertise for engineering change orders, non-conforming reports, and material review boards.

Identify and implement new laboratory equipment and processes.

Perform, interpret, and report analytical testing.

Evaluate, create, and initiate improvements to existing engineering, project, and departmental systems.
