Role Overview

Staff Applied AI Engineer – Shape AI‑powered product features from prototype to production, working alongside software, data engineers and data scientists.

Team & Reporting

You will be one of the first hires in the Data & AI Products team and report to the Principal Engineer. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Design, Engineering and Data & ML Platform teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship AI‑powered product features across agentic workflows, spend intelligence, automated actions and more.
• Apply AI judgement on trade‑offs (quality vs latency/cost, build vs buy, agent patterns vs simpler approaches) and guide teams away from hype.
