About the Role
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To conduct appropriate diagnostic evaluations in the area of communication disorders, and provide direct or indirect therapy services, and to promote a positive working relationship among and between staff by establishing a climate conducive to open communication and productive work to enhance student learning.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
Master's Degree in Communication Disorders, required
Certificate of Clinical Competence conferred by the American Speech /Hearing/Language Association, required
Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology, required
Deaf & Hard of Hearing Certificate, preferred (RSD only)
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Utilize effective communication, both verbal and written, able to communicate in sign language (RSD only) to administer appropriate diagnostic instruments and develop and interpret evaluation reports in English / Spanish; an...
