    To contribute to the development of a tertiary paediatric cardiology service within the Cairns Hospital and Health service and to wider Northern Queensland. Cairns Hospital is the only tertiary children’s service outside of Townsville and provides services to the Cairns, Cape and Torres Strait Island areas.
