Specialist, Mechanical - 000GSA Description The Mechanical Specialist provides daily support resolving mechanical issues. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: + Perform alignment of rotating equipment either with dial indicators or laser equipment. + Check pipe strain on equipment and instruct maintenance staff or contractors in regards to correcting issues found. + Troubleshoot pump mechanical seal; reciprocating gas compressor; natural gas engine performance; and centrifugal pump vibrations and performance issues. + NGL fractionation, natural gas production & processing, NGL and natural gas storage and pipeline systems knowledge. + Install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot rotating equipment including: natural gas and diesel reciprocating engines; natural gas and steam turbines; centrifugal, reciprocating & axial flow compressors and pumps; blowers; fans; expanders; electric motors; and generators. + Perform shop inspections on mechanical equipment being repaired and de...
