Specialist in Marine Pipelines

Airswift is recruiting a Marine Pipelines Specialist for an O&G sector client, with a permanent position based in Campeche, Mexico.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity, safety, operational efficiency, and environmental sustainability of subsea pipelines in a highly regulated offshore environment.
• Select appropriate materials and technical specifications for pipeline construction (specialized steels, anti‑corrosive and fatigue‑resistant coatings).
• Conduct structural analysis for hydrodynamic loads, internal pressure, and stresses from currents and wave action.
• Design mechanical protection systems to prevent external damage (anchors, fishing activities).
• Analyze the physical and chemical behavior of hydrocarbons under subsea conditions (hydrate/paraffin formation).
• Implement and manage cathodic protection systems using sacrificial anodes or impressed current.
