Summary

Under the supervision of the Pre-Hospital Coordinator, participates as a member of the Emergency Department team. Coordinates all pre-hospital emergent and non-emergent communications and facilitates transportation arrangements for patients being transferred or discharged from the facility. Responsible for maintaining accurate emergency medical services (EMS) data regarding all transports and communications.

Minimum Qualifications

High School graduate or equivalent.

Minimally certified as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or higher level EMS provider, or a minimum of three years of recent Emergency Department experience as an Emergency Room Technician (ERT).
