  • Shift times and staffing levels: • 0700 – 1700 2 Registrar + 1 RMO • 0800 – 1800 2 FACEM + 1 Registrar + 1 RMO + 1 Intern • 1400 – 2400 2 FACEM + 4 Registrar + 1 RMO + 1 Intern • 2230 – 0830 2 Registrar + 1 RMO + 1 Intern + 1 FACEM on call Support provided: 24hr consultant, registrars, RMOs and nursing staff
  • FACEM shifts are split between ‘in charge’ and ‘resource’ shifts. Registrar shifts are split between ‘acute’, ‘ambulatory’ and ‘EMU/resource support’.
