About the Role

Global Highland are recruiting for a Sous Chef for our client at a boutique hotel in the Cromarty area. This role has an immediate start available and would be an excellent opportunity for a Sous Chef with have a strong skill set and experience of working in a high end kitchen.

This is a full time role 5 out of 7 days with no split shifts and an opportunity to go permanent.

Key responsibilities

* Supervising kitchen staff and delegating tasks

* Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes

* Ensuring food quality and presentation standards

* Managing inventory and ordering supplies

* Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards

* Training and mentoring junior chefs

* Assisting with menu planning and recipe development

* Taking charge of the kitchen when the head chef is absent
