About the Role
* Patient Care: Prepare patients for exams, explain the procedure, and ensure comfort during the scan.
* Perform Scans: Operate highly specialized ultrasound machines (transducers) to capture images of the abdomen, heart, blood vessels, or developing fetuses.
* Analyze & Report: Critically evaluate the images, document findings, and provide a summary report for the interpreting physician.
* Maintain Equipment: Calibrate machines, sterilize equipment, and maintain a safe, sterile clinical environment.
