Position Summary

Perform high-quality obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations and procedures. Become well-trained in the use and daily maintenance of the ultrasound imaging and recording system used in the department.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

  • For gynecologic ultrasound examinations and procedures: Sets up ultrasound and procedure equipment; positions patient appropriately; operates ultrasound with or without physician guidance when appropriate (including but not limited to SIS)

  • For obstetric ultrasound examinations and procedures: Sets up ultrasound and procedure equipment; positions patient appropriately; operates ultrasound with or without physician guidance when appropriate (including but not limited to, amniotic fluid assessment, fetal viability, limited ...
