Your Opportunity:

The team in Fort McMurray is seeking a compassionate, experienced Social Worker II to support children, youth, and families through a collaborative approach with the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre Emergency Department and acute care teams. Reporting to the Manager of Allied Health, this role will also function as a Pediatric Mental Health Navigator, supporting children and families with complex needs through care coordination, case management, system navigation, and transition planning.You will work closely with ER and acute care staff, pediatric rehabilitation professionals (OT, PT, SLP, Child Development Specialists, Audiologists), and teams such as Addiction & Mental Health, Primary Care, Public Health, Indigenous Health, and Continuing Care to ensure a holistic, family-centered approach.
