Social Worker

Social Worker required for the Children in Need/Child Protection team. Duties will include carrying out S47’s and court work. Must have experience in CIN and CP.

Admin and office work will be carried out remotely but the successful candidate will be required to carry out face to face assessment for children in school or home settings. Experience or transferrable skills to work in a busy team of frontline social workers ie Child in Need, Child Protection, initial public law court work and private Law report writing.

Knowledge of Signs of Safety

ABE trained is advantageous

Excellent communication skills with children and their families

Experience in working as a team and also autonomously. 

Multi-agency working experience

Competent assessment and writing skills required

IT skills required to access electronic system used by the Local Authority
