Founded in 2003 as “Chennai Turns Pink,” it has grown from a city-based initiative to a nationwide campaign reaching multiple regions across India. The organization partners with key institutions such as Airports Authority of India (AAI) and Kalyanmayee to conduct large-scale awareness and screening drives. Through Pink Selfie campaigns, free breast cancer screenings in public spaces, and digital and offline health programs, India Turns Pink has already impacted millions of lives. Its current flagship goal, “10 Million Moms,” aims to reach 10 million households by Pinktober 2025, driven by the mission that early detection saves lives.
