Shift Mechanical Tech: Pneumatic Systems & Maintenance

The Shift Technician Mechanical is a hands‑on role for doing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical machines with pneumatic systems during their assigned shift. The Shift Technician Mechanical will work closely with production teams to ensure machines are operating at optimal efficiency, respond to breakdowns promptly, and perform routine preventive maintenance tasks. He will perform all tasks that are relevant to the function to prevent any breakdown or unsafe situation (for more details see section 2.0). The Shift Technician Mechanical reports to the Production Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Troubleshooting and Repair

• Identify, diagnose, and repair mechanical and pneumatic issues during production (gears, shafts, valves, air compressors, …).
• Respond immediately to equipment breakdowns during shifts, ensuring quick resolution to minimize production downtime.
