Shift Manager

Rare earth elements (REEs) power technologies such as electric vehicles, renewable energy, and advanced electronics. Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) is at the forefront of building the REE industry right here in Saskatchewan and we’re looking for a Shift Manager to be part of operating our Rare Earth Processing Facility.

The role is accountable for the safe, stable, and coordinated operation of the Monazite Processing Unit (MPU), Solvent Extraction Unit (SXU), and Metal Smelting Unit (MSU) during the assigned shift. The Shift Manager will lead an operations team to set priorities, control permits and work coordination, manage abnormal conditions, and ensure strong communication between operations, maintenance, material handling, laboratory, and support teams.

This role will require shift work as the facility functions under 24/7 operations.
